Michal Thim is a cyber threat intelligence analyst and East Asia region specialist with the National Cyber and Information Security Agency of the Czech Republic. His responsibilities include monitoring and analysis of state-sponsored cyber threats originating in the East Asia region. He holds a master's degree in political science from the School of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. Michal worked as Association for International Affairs’ Research Center director between 2007 and 2010. In 2010-2012 he studied Asia-Pacific studies at the National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taipei. In 2014, he returned to the NCCU as Taiwan Fellowship visiting scholar.
